Jannise Leung

Jannise is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience in various special child care centers, early education and training centers, mainstream and special schools, and private rehabilitation organizations. She specializes in providing rehabilitation services for children and adolescents with learning and developmental disabilities, demonstrating rich expertise in assessing and treating developmental disorders.

Holding a Professional Diploma in Occupational Therapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic, Jannise has focused her career on supporting children and adolescents. Guided by her faith, she deepens her spiritual understanding while compassionately serving young clients in both clinical and community settings. She is committed to caring for children with diverse special learning needs, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, dyslexia, motor coordination challenges, sensory integration difficulties, and executive function disorders.

In addition to her work with children, Jannise actively organizes parent-child workshops and seminars to enhance parents’ understanding of their children’s developmental stages and effective home training techniques. She maintains close communication with parents, providing emotional support as needed.

As a mother, Jannise has devoted significant time to longitudinal studies on children’s growth, focusing on sensory integration, motor skills, self-care, language acquisition, and social-emotional development. This dual perspective as both a clinician and a parent enriches her understanding and enhances the care she offers to the families she serves.
