Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessment
Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessment evaluates your child’s sensory processing, motor skills, daily living activities, and functional abilities across different environments. Our expert therapists create detailed, personalized reports that guide targeted interventions to enhance your child’s development and independence.

Do you need to arrange an occupational therapy assessment for your child?
If a child displays several of these behaviors, a comprehensive occupational therapy assessment may provide valuable insights and interventions tailored to their needs.
Covered Areas
Our comprehensive assessment examines your child’s development across six key areas, providing deep insights into their motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functioning. Understanding these areas enables us to create personalized strategies that support their growth and independence.
-
Fine Motor Skills & Handwriting Social Communication & Interaction
Your child’s ability to master precise movements needed for writing, drawing, buttoning, and using tools. We assess hand strength, coordination, and pencil control to support academic success and daily independence.
-
Gross Motor Development
We evaluate fundamental movement skills, balance, coordination, and core strength that enable your child to participate confidently in physical activities, sports, and playground play.
-
Sensory Processing
Understanding how your child processes and responds to sensory information, helping us identify any sensitivities or seeking behaviors that may impact their learning, attention, and emotional regulation.
-
Visual Motor Integration
Assessment of how your child coordinates visual information with physical movements, essential for reading, writing, sports, and navigating their environment successfully.
-
Daily Living Skills
Evaluation of age-appropriate self-care abilities including dressing, eating, grooming, and organization skills that build independence and confidence.
-
Social-Motor Skills
Examining how your child’s motor abilities influence their participation in social activities, team sports, and peer interactions, ensuring they can engage fully in school and community life.
