Dorothy Cheung

Occupational Therapist

Dorothy is a dedicated Occupational Therapist. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her professional journey includes serving at special child care centre, early education and training centre, NGOs, private services, homes and schools.

With a wealth of experience in various settings, she has a strong background in working with children across different age groups who are facing developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome, etc. Dorothy also took up the role of a clinical mentor for Bachelor's and Master's students in Occupational Therapy at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Dorothy holds several certifications, including CLASI Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration® ️ (CASI), Astronaut Training, the Zones of Regulation® ️ program and M.O.R.E. - Integrating the Mouth with Sensory and Postural Functions. She is also a certified provider of Therapeutic Listening®.

Dorothy brings a diverse skill set to her practice, incorporating various therapeutic approaches into her occupational therapy sessions. She empowers parents by offering guidance on how to incorporate therapeutic activities and sensory diets into daily routines at home and maximizing the child's potential for growth. Her commitment to improving functional performance of children is evident in her work. 

Dorothy is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
