Dr. Edwin Chun Hong CHIN
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Edwin Chin completed his Doctor of Clinical Psychology training in 2014 at Massey University in New Zealand. He is registered with the New Zealand Psychologist Board, a member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society's Division of Clinical Psychology, and a member of the Register of Clinical Psychologists accredited by the Hong Kong Department of Health.
After working at an outpatient mental health service for children and adolescents in New Zealand, Dr. Chin returned to Hong Kong and continued to support young people's psychological well-being through collaboration with NGOs and international schools. He has also worked for the Department of Health's Elderly Health Service, and understands the multi-generational dynamics that contribute to families’ physical and psychological well-being.
Dr. Chin conducts psychometric assessments to understand individuals’ functioning in the context of their educational, emotional, and cognitive development. He works collaboratively with families to build on strengths and address challenges. Dr. Chin is passionate about helping individuals develop emotional regulation skills to tolerate distress and overcome issues with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, gender identity, and interpersonal relationships.
