A practical and supportive workshop designed for domestic helpers who care for children at home. Participants will learn to better understand childrenā€™s behaviour and emotional needs, build positive relationships, communicate more effectively and respond calmly to everyday challenges. Through real-life examples, practical scenarios and role-play, the workshop focuses on skills that can be used immediately in the home.

The workshop is designed to be practical and interactive, combining short theoretical input with real-life examples, practical scenarios and role-play.

ONE-WEEK REVIEW

Reflect on what worked at home and how the skills were applied.

After the workshop, participants can reflect on:

  • What worked well
  • Which strategies were easier or harder to use
  • How children responded
  • Any situations that remained challenging
  • How the skills can be applied more consistently

Optional Continued Support

Receive 10% off a package of five one-to-one sessions for parents, helpers or children, booked within six calendar months.

This provides an opportunity for families to receive additional individualised support based on their specific needs.

For helpers working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), training can be tailored to the childā€™s specific needs.

Support may include:

  • Parent consultation before training
  • Personalised scenarios and role-play based on daily needs
  • Mid-programme parent update to review progress and challenges

Duration: 2 hours

Fee: HK$1,500 per person

Schedule: Weekdays early afternoon (TBC)
